Preliminary Patent Searching
A preliminary patent search is an important step in the early stages of the concept to market process. Inventors and entrepreneurs can conduct their own cost effective, preliminary patent search. An Internet connection, time and some critical thought are the only required tools. Results of preliminary patent searches can help inventors reevaluate confidence levels in the patentability of their invention and non-infringement of other patents (prior art). The results can also be useful for invention refinement.
